Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I've got it mostly assembled for spring, but wont put the front back together until I get the car converted to fuel injection. I'll start the conversion this week!
Like the shiny paint??
Very few have seen it.
1984 Pontiac Trans Am. Well, most of it anyway. Some of it is 1969 Chevy. Some of it is 1982 4-cylinder Firebird, 1987 Trans Am, and 1991 Formula 1LE. Some of it is 1994 Trans Am, and some of it is 1999 SLP Firehawk. The rest is aftermarket.

TPiS Mini-Ram, similar to the LT1...basically changes the stock motor from being an all torque 4.8K redline motor to a much higher horsepower 7K+ redline motor
I went for the first ride yesterday. Although not fully tuned, it's running quite lean, actually. However, even lean running, it gets to 3500 RPM in first gear, then all hell breaks loose and the rear slides around until I shift to second gear. This is at only 3/4 throttle, too, with my teeny 1 5/8 inch collector headers, which are SMALLER than the exhaust port on the heads. I had to reuse my old headers because of time constraints.
Wow, I have never been behind an engine like this. Probably mid to high 12's? I'll know in ten days.
