For sale.... 1979 Pontiac Formula Firebird. 400 Big-block, bored 30 over. 455 heads, engine has less than 2,000 miles on it. It has a forged bottom end with TRW Speed-Pro pistons, Eagle rods,Comp Magnum solid lift cam 306s, 306/555 duration and with 1.65 rockers make it a 306/612, built turbo 400 with 4000 stall, 3.73 rear with auburn posi. it also has a Edelbrock performer RPM intake, Mallory billit distributor, Afco 4 core radiator, Hooker long tubes, 40 series Flowmasters, Weld draglites with 28/12.50 ET Streets: 4" front/10" rear, B&M quick silver console shifter not installed but comes with car, 5" Autometer tach, oil, water, fuel gauges, 5" cowl hood, South Side liftbars, just installed a new Holley blue pump in October. The body is fairly solid some minor rust on passenger rear quarter. Paint is shiney. Its not show paint but looks nice when washed. the interior is in fair conditon. the only thing the car needs is front and rear window trim and a better carb. The carburetor that is on the car works but could use rebuilding, or replacement. It had a 850 demon but it was stolen off of the car during the fall so i just put something on there to get it running again. The car still runs nice I'm asking $5,500 or trade for a 93-97 Trans Am or Z28 Camaro with a 6spd. my e-mail is enyaw_619@yahoo.com or my cell is 517-605-5799. I'm located in Adrian, MI.

do you guys think i should ask for more than $5.500 ???? i know ive got a lot more than that into it. but that is what going fast is about you spend a lot to get there but when you sell it you take it up the coat. thanks for the comments

wouldn't hurt to ask for more if you're firm at 5,500.. that way they can talk you down and think they got a great deal and you still get what you wanted.

you could get 4-5 k out of the drivetrain alone let alone all the bolt ons and fun toys.. if i were in mich i would have to throw some cash and the deed to my 96 t/a and steal that away..
