  • New Nitrous Toyz for the 3.8

Well I finally took some pics of the new items for my nitrous setup. I am going to be running a 2stage setup on my 3.8l camaro. Yes, you heard correctly, a v6 with 2 stages of nitrous.

What I have bought is a Dynotune "add a dry kit" along with their 2stage window/rpm switch with the gear lockout feature and built in WOT switch. Should be interesting to see what a stock 3.8l engine can handle for nitrous.

oh yea, and don't bother looking for the kit at the shows, it will be hidden, lol. Will look like just a single wet stage car when you look in the engine bay.

I hope it does so we can find out how much the 3.8 can take and then I can put a built engine in...can you say 4.2l stroker engine capable of withstanding a 250 shot

got the dry kit plummed in, and good to go (completely hidden, looks like my car just has a wet kit single stage setup on it). Just need to tap two more wires on the PCM wire harness for the dynotune window switch and attach them to the window switch, should get it done Sunday afternoon, up at our cottage right now so I couldn't finish it today.

two stages on the 3.8l camaro is just around the corner

Wideband is suppose to come in this week as well.

trying to find the limits of the stock 3.8 motor before I build the engine up. Got a TA rear cover, wideband, and meziere electric waterpump on the way in the mail right now. That will be pretty much it other than a new high-flow cat for bolt ons. I can't think of anything else really.

Then when she blows, it will be new engine time. I have some ported intakes sitting here waiting to go on too.

If anyone has any salad shooters I could use a pair of those for the rears, then I can get some DR on it. Let me know if anyone has a pair they want to get rid of
