4l60e help

My buddys lookin for a new or used 4l60e for cheap can anyone help me out ? or wheres a cheap place to have it rebuilt ?

4l60e and cheap don't go together but what would be nice is to know what application.

Yeah i found that out when i redid my tranny... but theres a place up here in bay city that did mine n im happy with it.. its called bay transmissions but i doubt u would want to come up this far.... just alil sumthin eles to let you know if the tranny has 50000 + miles on it it will more than likly need to be rebuilt
