The car was dented there and they drilled holes and used a slide hammer to pull it back out. It wouldn't be too bad if you could get it for $1950, but it's hard to assess the other damage you can't see. No way I'd buy it sight unseen for that price with the damage it has. I'm keeping my eyes open for a BPM Camaro since that is a sweet color.

Needs some TLC, and if it wasn't for the V6 I would almost consider giving it a good home.

I had to do that on my car, when i was fixing some of the dent's on it, there are just some places where a shapping hammer or dent tools can't get too. Looks like there are some stains on the carpet too. That purple is pretty rare thoughsigpic

Well, with the tools that are used to do bodywork nowadays, there should have been NO HOLES put in any body panels to pull the dents. There is a tool now out, my Dad bought one, called a "Stun Gun" Basically, it spot-welds a small metal stick onto the freshly ground area where the dent is located. A small slide hammer then slides onto the stud, locks in place, and can be pulled that way. The studs are then broken off and the remaining metal is ground down, filler and/or primer is applied, the prep work is done, and the car goes off to paint. That's how the rear quarter should have been fixed, whoever did the bodywork on that car was a moron and pretty much destroyed the quarter panel on that car trying to pull a dent that could have been hammered out from the inside. . .
Sorry for such a long post, just thought I'd drop a little knowledge in here. . . Could be a beautiful car if someone put the time, money, and effort into it. I've never seen a 4th gen F-Body in that color. . . Looks cool!Nick H.

If it weren't a v6 I'd pick it up. It basically just needs some regular body work and a paint job, and then you could turn around and sell it for a fortune. Purple is uber rare. We have two purple TA's around our house that Angie and I always drool over whenever we see it- Brian Meissen

There's a purple V6 just like that driving around the big rapids area. I believe it's in almost the same shape
