  • New Wheels/Tires WOOOHOOO!!!

I love my old wheels but have REALLY been wanting to upgrade to 17's and a modern directionial tread tire. Had all but given up as everything I really liked was so damned expensive.

Tuesday I came across the deal of my lifetime. Wheels are American Racing TrakStar S 416's
17x9.5 w/5.5 bs in the rear with Khumo Ecsta MX 285/40/17 tires
17x8 w/4.75 bs in the front and 245/45/17 tires.
I would never have believed you could stuff this much wheel and tire under a 2nd gen

Everything brand new! Tires still have all the stickers on them. Mounted to his car once to check fittment and that is all. Then he decided to go a different direction with the car!
he has the reciept for over $2000 for everything. The wheels alone were $1352.

My son and I left at 11am yesterday morning and met him at his house in St. Louis , Mo. at 8pm last night. Got back home at 4am this morning 8-O
I got everything for $1300!!!!!! Merry Christmas to me:christmastree: :snowman: :reidneer2:

Badass Ray! It takes the car to a whole new level! I can't wait to see them in person! Your old wheels were OK but didn't make the car really pop. These seem to do the trick!

Thanks everyone. I'm really happy with the new look!.

Matt ..... He offered to ship them for $100 but I wanted them now as Autorama is in 3 weeks. We took the wife's big Buick which get 30mpg so food and gas was about $100. And it's always fun doing roadtrips with my son .

Guys let me tell you that these pictures do not do the wheels nor the car justice!! My wife and I stopped by Ray's house to see his new wheels and as soon as we drove around the corner and could see the car from a distance we both had a big smile on our faces. Then they looked even better upclose, except for the stickers on the new tires!! LOL Just kidding Ray!

I can wait to see it on display at Autorama with the new hood, painted lower valance, white interior and sweet wheels it is a whole different car than it was just a year ago! Congrats Ray on a Bad Ass Ride!!

Greg (damn no 2nd gen Camaro smilies so I will use this sweet '69)

P.S. time to change your avatar picture!!
