If it were the theft deterrent module, it should light up and say Security in the gauge cluster

Definitely interested in some pics and taking a look at it.

If it looks good, go for it Brian, $1200 seems like a good price if the LT1 is in good shape. Seems like a good opportunity for u to get a V8

Talking to my dad about it, we might borrow from our basement funds to get the car. All depends on the condition it's in and how much it would take to get the car actually running.

sounds like it would be a good car to buy and just swap motors with on a weekend.

seriously brian, swapping engines will be way easier than swapping all your stuff. think about it, youre gonna do trans and exhaust work either way. then on top of that you would have a v6 car to either sell or keep as a DD. Just throw a wrenching party. Red alert would be a fire breathing v8 after a day or two. Id be willing to help over christmas break. i really hope you get this

for sure id help with it if this happens. all you would have to do is drop the whole thing on the k member if im not mistaken.. and the rear if red alert has drums
and if not i need a new rear
