  • Wolf Grrl Z is teh broke

Well my Z broke last night, I was getting ready to leave for lunch and all of a sudden my clutch pedal slammed to the floor and the Z started making a nasty clunk noise. I shut the car off and then released the clutch pedal. I tried to restart the car but now the clutch pedal was so damn stiff I could hardly press it down. After getting some help getting it back into the parking lot and calling my buddy dave we figure what happened was either the clutch fork broke or one of the bolts that goes to it or a bolt for the slave cylinder. we dont know for sure since its still parked in the visitor lot at the IRS ( dont worry its completly fenced in and patrolled by armed guards) and I havent had a chance to look at it. But all the symtoms point to that being the problem, ie: if the fork or it's linkage is broke the clutch cant come away from the flywheel which is why the car cant start, because theres no way the poor starter motor can move the whole car. So hopfully its something like that becasue that should be a easy (and cheap) fix. Right now Im driving the "Saturn of poopy gheyness" but at least it gets me to work and back. Looks like the Z will be down till as least next weekend though when I get payed...meh

That definently sucks!I had several problems with my t56.One time I actually lodged the throw-out bearing in the pressure plate causing the slave to fully extend resulting in a stiff pedal.Hopefully yours is an easy fix...Good luck

Well good news, It WAS just the clutch fork and since I shut it off almost as soon as it happened nothing else got damaged. I ordered the fork from "Moron" chevrolet and it will be there today . So the Z could be back on the road as soon as tonight, Which is just in time because that saturn was sucking out my will to live, theres just no joy in driving that thing.

                    Thanks for the love guys.

                      Moron Chevrolet

HA, this made me laugh this morning. I thought I was the only one walking around saying "Moron" Chevrolet after it took them 5 weeks to fix my Blazer Xtreme and about 3 trips after I got it back to have them redo some of their work. But that was all after we had to argue about the quality of their work which was worse than Macco. I will never do business there again not even for the smallest thing such as an oil change or getting a part from them.
