Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I know there is a few people in here that have to know what the general difference in hp there is between a mustang dyno and a regular dynojet. Help me out!

I was wondering the same thing last night. I think the difference is overrated, people use it as an excuse for having low numbers or something. In my book if you are gonna complain about your numbers on a mustang dyno, then dont even bother. But i am curious as well.
i would call 15-20% a pretty big difference. but i agree with jeff, you should use a dyno as a tool to watch progress not to compete. the real numbers to brag about are at the end of the track
9% difference between Sean's Dyno at CARS and Livernois Dyno... this was 2 days apart, V-10 killers car on the Dyno's. 2% difference between Sean's Mustang Dyno and Backwoods Racing's Mustang Dyno in Midland, with Backwoods being 2% lower. Yes, this could be the air, etc...
Well my bro ran mine on backwoods MD and got 270hp and 285ft-lbs. Although my best run so far has been a 12.95 @ 107. I had the engine on a engine dyno and had 415hp and 407ftlbs of torque. I hate the 700r4, so much loss.

This is about right, add 11%... will give you ~300 hp on a dynojet (calibrated to Livernois Dyno), which in the 1/4 mi. will run right about what you did. My 316 hp on a dynojet went 12.91 in the 1/4! Don't be sad LOL Time for more POWA...
any dyno can have a different varience, if your tuning use the same dyno or you waste your time (and brand doesn't matter really) dynojet claims a varience of about 5% in their sales literature I got so each run can vary some also
