92' rs f/s... cheap! 950 O.B.O!!!

hey guys i got a 92' purple haze mettalic camaro rs for sale. its an auto., 305 tbi, comes with an extra tbi carb., also has T-Tops, has cragar ss classic wheels on the rear but i have the stock wheels as well. after i got it we put a new alternator, flywheel, and plugs and wires. it needs some tlc the motor does not run but turns over strong. everynow and then it backfires while turnin over as well.the motor was rebuilt and hasn't been started but it should be a timing problem. all it really needs to get running is a mechanic. i am in allen, michigan and if u need anymore information or pictures get a hold of me at bigdogsean21@hotmail.com or 517-869-2353 leave a message. must go quick and price is fairly flexible jus make me an offer fellas.

well we never tried to find where the timing is... but i know that the timing chain is right where it should be... the distributor has to be turned 180 but me and my dad are goin to do that asap.. hopefully tomarrow. and then all that should have to be done is finding tdc... people have told us how to but we just aren't mechanically sound. and i think i am gunna jus try to sell this and get a cycle and save up for a bad ass camaro... but i have pics and i am located in allen, michigan, which is in hillsdale county.( allen is in between coldwater and hillsdale) if ya need anything else jus leave a post. thanks guys

the exterior needs a paint job, theres rust but only surface rust. interior is good, it isn't super clean but its in decent shape.. i'll send ya some pics...

When I changed the plugs, wires, dist cap, and router. We had to have change the plug order on the cap. Number 1 went into the Number 3 spot on the cap and then all the way around after that. Maybe try that and maybe it'll run for you. That's on my 2.8l though. Don't know why it's like that but hell it runs and everything.

ya that is an easy way to get the firing order back without pulling the whole dist back out again... just go pick up a hayes or chiltons at autozone for like 10-15 bucks it will tell you step by step how to time it. or just look online someone might have posted it... looks really clean though how many miles is on the body?
