  • What Is It?

A FRIEND OF MINE JUST GOT DONE WITH HIS LATEST PROJECT, AND BROUGHT IT OVER TO THE GRAND HAVEN CAR SHOW TODAY. IT IS VERY WELL DONE, AND THE MOST DIFFERENT CAR I EVER SAW.

CAN YOU TELL WHAT IT IS?

I've seen a few of those T-Bird/Hot Rods, and, no disrespect to your friend, I hate them. I had the chance to buy one a while back. It does look like he did a good job though.

....That's what it looks like to me too. Sure is ugly, but a very nice job.
Is it some sort of kit?

I don't like it, but, as mentioned above, it looks like a professional custom job. . . Reminiscent of a '50s Studebaker, but with all of the modern conveniences of a FORD . . . lol

yeah i think with some rims, and chrome mirrors and if it sat a little lower in the front, it would look good

Ol Time Rock N Roller On Board

YEA, IT'S A 50 FORD FRONT END AND REAR, WITH A DODGE REAR BUMPER UPSIDE DOWN, ON A 97 T-BIRD.

I AGREE, IT DOES NOT LOOK COOL, FROM A LOW RIDE, AND RIMS, ETC.

BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, CHARLIE IS AROUND 60 YRS OLD, AND HE BUILT IT JUST TO TOOL AROUND IN...

i think just with those things i said it would look alot better, unless he's trying to make it so you can tell its a newer car mixed with an older car then he should leave it

You guys need to get out more. 50-51 Fords had the bullet style nose on them. That is a fiberglass kit that fits on the T birds. Originally someone actually bolted on factory Ford sheetmetal and grafted it onto the back. The one I saw looked a lot nicer as it was lowered and was a green metallic and had some custom wheels on them. I like them and had considering building one for a driver since you can pick up decent T birds for under $5K.
