  • New Speakers & Amp

I have been rockin' the single Polk Audio 6x9 for over a month. When the other one first blew I got a ticket a couple days later so I couldn't get new speakers. Then the week of the Meet & Greet I had problems with my car so I couldn't get new speakers. Well now everything is going good (knock on wood). I'm out of school and working alot so I finally got new speakers and an amp for the bird.

Nothing to special, but it should sound pretty good. Matt(odoom) has these in his car, and it sounds really nice. I know some people don't like Kenwood speakers, but I've had good luck with Kenwood. I also have a Kenwood head unit.

I got my stuff today. Looks badass. Installed the speakers (you hatchbacks have it lucky, you don't have to stand on your head in a trunk the size of a cooler to install your speakers). I didn't hooke up the amp yet because I'm still deciding where to put it. Matt(odoom) hooked me up with an amp install kit that he had laying around so that was badass. The speakers rock pretty hard w/o the amp, so I can't wait to hear them with the amp hooked up. I'll get some pics up after I clean my back windshield.

Kick ass man! i love kenwood products and i've always had good luck with them! my old headunit was a pretty slick fliparound "D-Mask" kenwood unit! it did it's duty well through 4 different cars, a few accidents and all in all, i was really happy with it!

I use to have 1 of those as well. Was in about 6 diff cars. I wanted another 1 but there hard to find, and very expensive.
