Cool what color are you going with?

Same color as Ms. Percy is now. I'd guess you could call it a Canary Yellow. The hood, and front facial will be paint black. Just haven't been able to see it in my mind as to how I want to do it as far as cutting in the black with the yellow.

Before it gets cleared, I'm going to have my nephew do a couple murals on the sides. A Bad Ole Mean Tweety!

I think yellow with Black racing stripes would look mean. . . Like my Monte Carlo. . . It's a sexy peice of machinery!

Black racing stripes? Um, I dunno about that. I kinna wanna stay under the radar. Yellow is loud enough in my book. Especially with all the windows tinted.


Curious though on everyone's thoughts about painting the hood black.

I think if you did a two tone black and yellow it'd work, with more than just the hood painted.

I saw a yellow 4th gen maro with black stripes on my way home. It was sharp looking.

Oops my bad, I thought you had a 4th gen. Black on the lower body with yellow on top might look good on your 3rd gen.

I cant picture a 3rd gen with black stripes on yellow..maybe on 4th gen but not 3rd gen...the black on the bottom might be a good touch.

As long as its incorporated somewhere else in the car and you find some cool way to break up the colors instead of just a black hood I think it will look nice.

I think if you are trying to stay under the radar you may want your hood to be yellow. That way it looks like a stock camaro. People who have something to prove paint their hoods black. Ever see a civic with a carbon fiber hood? Unless you are doing it for visability improvement I would make the car look consistent. Black dual tone or some other arrangement would look very nice and still seem toned-down. Maybe someone would care to photochop us an example???
