Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

hey i know what you mean.......i have polished aluminum..........they suck for that.....i tried that mothers and never dull neither worked.....i tried some other chrome polish......and rubbed and rubbed then had the g/f start rubbing.......lol but now they shine!!!!!!!
heres a before and after shot of my wheels that i did this winter and also a pic of my hsr and coolant reservoir i did the same way. spent about 6 hrs on each one, but they turned out great. To do it i needed lots of sand paper from 80 grit up to 1000, a corded drill, a bunch of polishing wheels and tripoli and white rouge compounds. If the wheels are already smooth you wouldnt really need to sand just get the polishing compounds for that real shine. all of the stuff in the pics started out as natural finish aluminum, no polishing done at all, just aluminum as it comes.
Yeah we worked on Nick's car yesterday with the buffer and saw a definite improvement.
(Is there anything I can do to keep the shine once I have it the way I want it) Is there clear coat for engine compartments? Or any other trick? Thanks.
yea if someone has the answer for that i would like to hear it. i dont know of anything to keep polished aluminum shiny. i guess if that was the case there would be no such thing as aluminum polish haha
Yeah if it were chrome it'd be a different story but polished aluminum will just need to be polished once in a while depending on how good you want it to look.
Yep I am going to polish the crap out of everything I can get my hands on! Watch out boys this one is my engine is gonna blind ya!!
You should polish the crap outta your stock wheels and give them to me! lol You know, you could polish the OEM wheels and throw them on Jen's Jimmy. . . . Would look great IMO.
