I have Edelbrock Shorties " wish I did long tubes" and a Magnaflow cat back exhaust
. I love the mellow roar she makes but I think deleting the cats that have 100,000 miles on them now will really make her a beast. I was looking at a stainless works Y-pipe on Summitracing.com. I believe the price is around $315.00. However for the price I could just sell my shorties and have almost enough to buy pacesetter long tubes and a y-pipe. Does any one know where I can find a garage that can make there own pipe with mandrel bends to replace my cat pipes? A good welder may be able to just cut the cats and weld in new pipes? However the driver side cat is part of the flange. Should be able to cut the cat off the end? Or I have the stock manifold and the flange probably can be cut off and have the pipes welded to it?
I also need some new bracket made for the rear muffler. I didn't save my stock ones when I replaced the stock exhaust with a Blowmaster muffler. Then when I upgraded I had to pay someone to make brackets that don't work
.
After deleting the cats I will have a new program made by madz28 to upoad into the computer.
