Hey guys,

We just met with Bakers of Milford today. 1st I have to say - Jeff, Todd, and I are ABSOLUTELY excited about this year and future years at Baker. They were directly in line with where we want the M&G to go in the future and we can't wait to start getting some other things lined up for next year. :D

That said, Bakers offered to do a Breakfast Buffet of eggs, french toast, bacon, etc... a basic breakfast buffet. Allowed to go up for more than one serving, etc.

If we have enough interest, they'll have the buffet from 7am to ~10am and then from 11am to 4pm they'll grill on the BBQ as well as have the restaurant open to us.

How many people would be interested in participating the buffet? I know I'm in because I'll be there at 7 - who else is with me?!

EDIT: Cost for buffet is $5.

Not me, I'm not a big breakfast food person, plus I'm not sure what time we're gonna get there.

You know me Brian I'm all about getting places early but being that I'm bringing the Girls with me chances are slim I'd be there before 10am.
I'll have to discuss this with the wife and see if she wants to drive seperate so she could come later.

I'm out, if I recall we used to meet around 9AM in ionia to head on over, given that time frame there is no way we would be there in time, and I really don't want to wake up any earlier lol.

possibly depends on what time the shelby convoy gets over to the m&g

April 29th, 2009, 01:58 AM

I don't think I'd be getting there that early. I don't have plans to meet up with a convoy yet but who knows. It'd be a nice option to the people who do get there early though, and the people I'm bringing would definately be in if we get there early enough.

Depends on what time the east siders going down M59 get there. The more food I get in me the better. I'm going straight from the M&G to a concert that night so I'll need my fuel!

Any chance of keeping the buffet open until 11:00 to allow the Westsiders to get there. It sounds like a great deal.

I voted "no thanks" simply because we just won't be there in time. Even if we arrive somewhere before 11am, by the time we get parked, do our registration stuff and get settled, it will be easily after 11. Otherwise it sounds like a nice deal if you are there early enough.

I'm looking forward to lunch at Bakers.

I'd be interested I love breakfest food! But I am coming with the Royal Oak crew and it sounds like we might be eating already? I dunno we'll work out the details but I am interested in it at Bakers too!

C'mon, just vote guys...one way or the other...we definitely need to be professional with how we respond to Baker's...they've offered a lot to us and we don't want to short change them at the end of the day.

Nobody is going to be put off if it doesn't fly...we have the option of opening up the grill earlier too, so that may be another option.

That might be more appealing to the majority of people, not sure.

Yes, Baker's is VERY flexible and will work with us on food needs...if we want an earlier lunch, a later breakfast, whatever, it's all open for discussion...

Keep the votes coming in guys. If we only have about 20 people that want to partake in the breakfast buffet we might just tell them thanks but no thanks on the buffet and have them start grilling a little earlier instead. Keep in mind that the convenience store just south of Bakers (see the map that I just posted in the other thread for picture) has breakfast pizzas and other goodies that they start making at 6am.

Didn't vote cause I won't be there.

If I was going I'd say skip the Breakfast and open the grill about 10am

i agree with skipping brakfast and opening the grill early, thats just cause when i get there i know i would like breakfast but i will most likely get sidetracked and overwhelmed with looking at cars right away :-)

I voted a maybe. If we are there early and hungry, Ashley & I always like a good breakfast. But we may eat at home before meeting the northside folks to caravan over. Depends how bad my stomach is growling when I wake up.
