Is the construction that everyone else is talking about in other caravan threads going to affect us? If so, does anyone know a way around it? I have never been to Kensington before, therefore I dont even know what way we will be taking to get there!

Good idea to bring this thread back to the top.

I'm not quite sure about construction or what path we'll be taking, but unrelated, I think we should just roll by ourselves and not try to meet up with another caravan, it could get hairy.

Depending on what vehicle Fred is taking, we might only be able to do a certain speed on the freeway.

yo. idk what car(s) i will be bringing quite yet. should know more in a week hopefully. but the 67 firebird will be going no matter what, and that car can really only go 60-65 for an extended amount of time...

I think we were going to meet at National Coney Island at twelve and main at like 7am? which would mean we would be on the road by 8 at the latest. and it will probably take us 45 min to get to our parking spots, which would put us at 8:45/9? is that too early? I cant remember when kyle and I left last year, but we were some of the first people there.

since we have changed our plans so many times im going to make a final rsvp thread in a bit, but... what time does everyone want to meet at national in the morning 730, 8? looks like a 35-40min drive to bakers... personally i'd like to be there no later than 930...

Well, like I mentioned before, my dad and I probably won't be going to National, but we need another place to meet up after you guys are done with national. I may not be driving my Cobalt, so National is some place I don't want to park. Did we talk about Fresard's old lot?

I think the Lapeer crew is leaving around 7:30...

I'd say you guys should meet at National around 7-7:30, and then we should hit up Fresard at around 7:30-8, take some pictures, and take off. I think the old building and lot will make a nice set of pictures.

I dont think I will be meeting at Nationals either, first off im not a great morning person and now they are offering breakfest at Bakers for only $5!! Where is this old Fresard lot at? Also I know Joe was interested in going with us so I will try to get the information to him too! Should we leave like 7:30am and have breakfest there at bakers?

ok im just gonna make the decision here. we will meet at national at 730. if you are not going to national, expect us to be at fresards (north of 11 mile on main) around 815 or so. we'll hit the road at 830 at the latest and get to bakers around 9. that is plenty early.
