I used pioneers all around. They've worked out well so far. You want to get a system that can survive being loud all the time, especially in a 'vert. Good quality speakers are a must.

I think the fronts are 5.25 and the rears are 4x6? I can't remember, it's one of the first things I did, when my roommate still owned the car.Originally posted by white96TA View Post6 1/2 inch pioneers? , same ones all round?sigpic

Nakamichi still makes a good product? I know they made a hell of a component years ago, as my dad (when he still was in the car-stereo business) did a demo truck for Nakamichi and used The Wall as the demo album.Originally posted by WMCC Gary View PostI have Nakamichi componets in the sail pail, Boston Acoustic plates in the dash and 15+ year old Kicker Pro Subs in the back.
Boston Acoustic is another good one, very good in fact.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

I've learned you need to talk the guy who deals with this stuff all the time. There's no advantage in taking advice from someones 2D view on this sort of application just because something else worked for them the first time.
