as some of you can notice in the pics of my car the nose in the center top where it meets the hood has bubbled down a bit... now i heard you can pop it back out by applying heat like a hair dryer to it and pushing it up to straighten it up again? has anyone ever done this or know someone that has... i have a plastic heat gun at work i can steal when i need it... but i dont want to melt it or make it worse...is there a specific way you go about fixing it?

alright well sence no one seems to know the fix i think i will be the test subject here and try it once it warms up... im just going to apply pressure from the back and heat the top to see if the bubble pops out... ill let you know how it goes...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. what is it made out of? plastic or fiberglass? if its plastic it will probibly work if you get it to the right temp, but if its fiberglass it most likely just melt or catch on fireLast edited by greenmachine; February 8th, 2006, 02:17 AM.

no lol its plastic if it was fiberglass i would just fill it in with more fiber glass... by the looks of it its grade B polypropolene... so i just cant really heat it past 350... i work in plastics so i got that end covered..lol its just this plastic is older than me... so i have no idea how well its going to hold up or exactly what its made out of... this was before the world cared about saving itself and printed info on almost ever non-biodegradable part thats made...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice.
