  • Things to look out for

Well I may be going to look at an 85 IROC and I was wondering what I should watch out for on these cars.

    Everything. Haha, kidding.

    Body, mostly.

I dunno what else really, except you know, like making sure it runs.

And if its a ttop car check for frame flex and that they dont leak. I have a 98 Z28 and have a bit of frame flex. Just be careful and check over it with a fine toothed comb

this applies to any car i buy... but i always watch the tailpipes after a COLD start to make sure i dont see any blue smoke. That being said, feel the engine before you start it to make sure the guy didnt warm it up prior to hide stuff.
