Does anyone have a pic of the front end of a stock third gen Camaro with the nose removed? I'm researching an idea and Google images turned up squat. I just need to see the impact bar and plastic egg crate stuff and how it mounts to the frame. Thank you.

Yeah I can get some pics for you tomorrow. Do you just want how the nose mounts to the body and fenders? I can sorta give you a quick rundown if you need it.

No i know all that (tore it all apart before already), im mainly focusing on the inpact bar, how it mounts and its location in relation to the radiator. Im trying to see if i can open it up where the grill is to allow air to the radiator/or a custom cold air intake. Woul: rather be able to see what im dealing with before taking the nose/fenders off myself.

No problem, I'll get some pictures for you tomorrow. I have EVERYTHING out of the way so they should work pretty good.

The impact bar mount to 8 studs that stick out from the front subframe rails. 4 per side. Other than that, you can cut out a bunch of material up there for better airflow. You will lose support on the nose of the car but that could easily be worked around. Alot of turbo guy open all this up for better air flow to the intercooler. Some guys do away with it all together.

Here's an odd question - can it be removed without taking the nose off? I know i can get to all 8 bolts that hold it to the frame but will it come down and out of the car without much struggle?

Upon further looking it looks like there is already pockets that allow air to the radiator that run threw the impact bar.... unless I was going to open up the center section of the grill area, I'm not getting any better there. May still concider it. As far as a cold air intake, deleting the hi-beams and using inlets in thier location looks to be much easier that going below... I'm scrapping this idea for now. Thanks for the help guys.
