Hey everyone I'm new to f bodies I just picked up a clean 96 Camaro v6 going to do a lt1 swap I already had but I don't have the computer what would I need to get to get that motor running also does the v6 Camaro have the right transmission for a straight bolt on. It's an automatic. Thanks in advance

What V6? 3.4? The 3.4 has the narrow "metric" bolt pattern. The LT1 will not bolt to it.
For a computer I wouldn't waste my time with finding a good OEM unit. Too many things to go wrong with them and they are difficult to program. Burning a chip is the only way to do it and, with my experience, you may get one good chip out of 50 tries... Look into the DIY Auto Tune Mega Squirt ECM. Easily programed with a laptop and infinitely tuneable. https://www.diyautotune.com/support/...ch-megasquirt/
Going with 2004R or 700 r4 AOD trans you won't need the computer to control it as these are TV Cable controlled.
