I think the problem is the majority of 5th gen owners don't know what an FBody is nor that the Camaro existed prior to 2010. Most of the 5th gen owners I encounter don't associate with the other gens -- they only go to Camaro5.com or associate with 5th gen only clubs like Detroit 5th Gen Camaro Club. Heck, on Camaro5 they refuse to subscribe to "Camaro Performers" magazine and have it mailed directly to them because it covers all the gens, so they have to go on a wild goose hunt to find Camaro Now magazine in the stores which is 5th gen only. That said though, I am very thankful for the Detroit 5th Gen Club showing up in so much force at the Meet & Greet since they really keep the show going.

That said -- 5th gen owner

From what Brian has said I would be an exception. I've had two 3rd gens, a 4th gen and now I'm a 5th Gen owner. I enjoy looking and appreciate them all.

Dawn Reflected.jpgWe have 2 5th Gen's...a HWSE and a Black SS, love ALL F-Bodies and heck, even know what GM80 was (dating myself). At least that is 1 F-body that didn't make it! Maybe someday when the stars align will have a '69Z28 too...which is my FAVORITE all time...

Many of the 5th gen folks on this site are exceptions to my post. Brian and Dawn, Mike and LoriAnn, Chad, Brian H, Rob and Tracy, among others are all really cool folks.
