  • Need engine builder recommendations

I'm looking for some machine shop / engine builder recommendations in the Detroit metro area (I'm in Sterling Heights).

I need to have my LT4 shortblock rebuilt- the usual cleaning, machine work & assembly of a 383.

He did my cylinder heads, was very happy with the work and price. I plan on going to him again for my next build.

I had some head work done there before, can't say I'd ever go back. The old man working the counter was a complete ******* and told me he didn't have time for my job and he didn't want my business.

Yeah I'm at 17 & Mound. Actually sent the '88 GTA away with my dad to Florida a few days ago. No thirdgens left, just getting this '96 LT4 'vette going.

I'm planning to have my LT4 heads CNCd by Advanced Inductions. I've read inconsistent reviews about LE and I'd rather have a CNC port job.

Sounds like you need to build a 383.
